This Privacy Policy describes what is collected when you visit the site, and what is not.

1. Information We Collect

We do not ask you for your name, email address or payment details, and there is no account to create. Some information still reaches us automatically, and under GDPR an IP address counts as personal data even when we never attach a name to it. Here is what there is:

  • Browser type, device, and operating system
  • Your IP address, which reaches the hosting provider with every request as part of ordinary request handling. It is not stored in any database by this site, is not used to locate you, and nothing on this site reads it
  • Pages visited and session duration
  • Referring links and outbound affiliate clicks

Browser, device, pages visited and referral data are collected by Google Analytics, and only after you accept analytics cookies.

2. Affiliate Links and Third-Party Tracking

MEXCBonusCode.com contains affiliate links to external websites such as MEXC Global. When you click an affiliate link, cookies or tracking parameters may be used to identify that your visit came from our website. We do not control or access this data, and each partner platform has its own privacy practices.

We also keep our own count of how often each affiliate link is clicked. That record contains only the link that was clicked, the page it was clicked from, the referring website and the time. It contains no identifier for you, no device information and nothing stored on your device, so individual visitors cannot be distinguished from one another in it.

3. Cookies and Analytics

We use privacy-compliant analytics tools to understand traffic trends and website performance. All analytics services are only activated after you explicitly accept analytics cookies through our cookie consent banner.

Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to track website visits, user behavior, and traffic sources. This helps us understand which content is most valuable and how to improve your experience. Google Analytics collects anonymized data including page views, session duration, geographic location (country/city level), device type, and referral sources.

We do not use session recording or heatmap tools. Nothing on this site records your screen, your mouse movements or your keystrokes.

Google processes this data in accordance with its privacy policy, which you can review at https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can disable analytics cookies at any time through our cookie consent preferences without losing access to our website.

Other processors: this site runs on Vercel and uses Supabase for its affiliate-click counter, so your IP address reaches both as part of ordinary request handling. The site previously ran a server function that called ipapi.co to guess a visitor country; that function and the third-party call have been removed, so no geolocation lookup of any kind now happens.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

Your IP address reaching the hosting provider is unavoidable in serving you a page at all, and this site neither reads nor retains it. Analytics rests on your consent, which you give or withhold in the cookie banner and can change at any time. We do not build a profile of you, and nothing here is used to make a decision about you.

5. Data Retention

Google Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months. Beyond that this site retains nothing about you: the affiliate-click counter holds no identifier at all, and hosting-provider request logs expire on that provider's own schedule.

6. Your Rights

Under GDPR you have the right to ask what personal data is held about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to withdraw consent you have given. Send any of those requests to kaspar@hagman.ee and they will be answered.

In practice there is nothing to hand over: this site keeps nothing that identifies you. Where the data sits with Google Analytics, requests are quicker directed to Google, whose retention and deletion controls are its own — but ask here first if you are unsure, rather than being bounced between parties.

You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. In Estonia that is the Andmekaitse Inspektsioon (aki.ee).

7. Data Security

Our website uses SSL encryption to protect all data transmissions. We follow modern security practices to prevent unauthorized access or misuse of our site.
