What Is the MEXC Bonus Code FAIRTRADE (2026)?
If you're exploring crypto trading or looking for ways to potentially reduce trading fees on MEXC Global, you may have come across 'MEXC Bonus Codes.' The code FAIRTRADE is part of MEXC's affiliate program and may provide access to promotional rewards when you register.
Affiliate Disclosure: This article contains affiliate links. I may earn a commission when you register through my links at no extra cost to you. All bonuses and discounts are subject to MEXC's official terms and may change without notice.
Risk Warning: Cryptocurrency trading involves significant risk. Prices can fluctuate rapidly and you may lose your investment. This content is for informational purposes only and should not be considered financial advice.
Regulatory position: eight regulators, among them the UK FCA, Japan's FSA and BaFin, have published warnings about MEXC, and the Seychelles regulator has said it cannot help users recover funds. Every source, linked.
How Does the MEXC Bonus Code Work?
The MEXC bonus code is a referral identifier that connects your new account with an affiliate partner. When you enter code FAIRTRADE during registration, MEXC may apply promotional eligibility to your profile based on their current offers and your eligibility. For a complete step-by-step walkthrough, see my beginner's guide to using MEXC.
- Visit the registration page through a partner link.
- Expand "Referral Code (Optional)" and enter FAIRTRADE. See the note below — this is the step people miss.
- Complete verification, and your first trade if the campaign requires one.
- Open Rewards Hub to see what is actually available to you.
The code field, and a correction
On 23 August 2026 this box said the referral field was collapsed behind a grey row you had to click. I went back to the live form on 29 August 2026 and that is no longer what I saw: the row labelled "Referral Code (Optional)" sits open under the email box with the input visible. MEXC appears to have changed the page. The earlier description is corrected rather than quietly deleted, because a page that asks you to check dates on other people's claims should show its own.
One caveat on my own check: the browser I used had already followed a referral link, so it is not a clean test of what someone arriving with no history sees. If the field is folded away for you, it is the row directly under the email box.
What is worth knowing either way: the input's placeholder reads "Enter invitation code (case-sensitive)". Capitals matter. And arriving through a referral link pre-fills the box, which is convenient and is also the easiest way to scroll past a field without reading it. Check what it says before you press Continue.
What Rewards May Be Available?
Using a partner code like FAIRTRADE may provide access to MEXC's promotional programmes, which can include:
- Potential trading fee discounts for new users
- Access to promotional campaigns in Rewards Hub
- Eligibility for VIP & loyalty events
- Referral earnings if you invite friends through the affiliate program
These rewards vary based on MEXC's current promotions and your eligibility. Always check the official MEXC Rewards Hub for the most accurate and updated offers. Learn more about how to access MEXC rewards safely.
Referral code, invite code, promo code — same field
You will see this one thing called five different names, and the different names make people think there are different offers behind them. There are not. Bonus code, referral code, invite code, promo code and sign-up code all mean the same string, entered in the same box, doing the same job: it tells MEXC which partner sent you.
The code itself does not set your reward. What you receive comes from whichever campaign MEXC is running when you register, plus the tasks you complete in Rewards Hub, plus your region. Two people entering the identical code in different months, or different countries, can end up with entirely different results.
About the figures other pages advertise
Search for a MEXC code and you will meet headline numbers. Three claim shapes come up again and again, and it is worth knowing what each one is actually doing:
- "Up to 10,000 / 12,000 USDT". The operative words are "up to". Figures like this describe the ceiling of a tiered programme, unlocked through deposit thresholds and cumulative futures volume. It is not a sum handed to a new account, and almost nobody reaches the top tier.
- "Up to 50% off trading fees". This one is not merely optimistic, it is out of date. It refers to the MX Holder Discount, which MEXC suspended on 9 February 2026. The discount that still exists is the 20% MX deduction, and you have to switch it on yourself — see the fee guide.
- "150% commission discount". A discount cannot exceed 100%. Phrasing like this is a number chosen to look large rather than to mean anything.
I have no figure of my own to put against those, and that is deliberate: I cannot tell you what you will receive, because it depends on things neither I nor the code controls. What I can do is point you at what MEXC actually charges, which is knowable, sourced, and the same for you as it is for me.
If You Already Registered Without a Code
The web answers this both ways and most of the answers are wrong in one direction or the other. MEXC's own referral help centre states: "Within 30 days after account registration, you can add and bind an invitation code through customer service or the self-service function."
So it is not sign-up only, and it is not open-ended either. Thirty days from registration, through the self-service tool or by asking support. After that it cannot be applied retroactively. Read on 29 August 2026; if you are close to the edge of that window, check it yourself rather than trusting this paragraph. There is more on what the code does and does not change in the referral code guide.
